Features
In addition to its “curtainâ? protection, LAMBDA 3D features a second protection system that projects into the hallway to detect passengers as they approach or exit the elevator.
Objects such as dirt, dust or chewing gum can sometimes block the emitters and detectors, causing the system to shut down. LAMBDA 3D incorporates “graceful degradation,â? designed to enhance reliability by preventing unnecessary shutdowns due to blockages. The system also protects doors from damage caused by mail carts, gurneys and other wheeled equipment.
LAMBDA 3D complies with Canada Barrier-free and ADA requirements for non-contact detection.
Application
In addition to new and existing high-rise buildings, the LAMBDA 3D system is ideal for industrial and healthcare facilities where mail carts, stretchers, hospital beds or other heavy equipment is used.
