DESCRIPTION:
Vee Byna-Tie® triangle with wrap-around metal strap. For tying masonry to concrete or CMU backup with a flexible, not rigid, connection.
345-BT w/S.I.S. is fitted with a Vee Byna-Tie® in conjunction with the
Seismiclip® Interlock System
. Horizontal joint reinforcing wire and Vee Byna-Tie® are snapped into Seismiclip and covered with mortar. This allows wire, tie and anchor to function as a single unit attached to the backup.
Continuous wire is beneficial for seismic zones or to provide additional protection against problems arising from thermal expansion and contraction. The continuous wire also allows for a more uniform distribution of lateral forces.

Standard
Sheet steel is 3/4? wide x 12 ga. thick with 5/16? hole
Vee Byna-Tie® portion is 3/16? diameter x 3?, 3-1/2?, 4?, 4-1/2?, 5?, 6? or 7? long
Other sizes available upon request.
