Overview
Interiors is a collection of innovative objects for everyday use in bathrooms and living areas. This new product line from Dornbracht comprises high-quality accessories and furniture items with a timeless, reductive formal idiom. These products can readily be integrated into existing interior design concepts. Every design is a distinctive expression of the ideas and style of its creator or architect.
This Swiss national studied product design at the Art Center College of Design (Europe) until 1990, when he graduated with distinction. During the next two years, Frédéric Dedelley developed an orientation system for the Louvre within the framework of an “Agence Anatome”/Paris teamwork project. The designer spent the period from 1992 to 1993 working as a freelance artist in San Francisco. He created objects for “Pottery Barn and Hold Everything” and an orientation system for the architects Gensler & Associates. Subsequent to this, Dedelley worked at “deSede of Switzerland” until 1994 as assistant to the art director in the area of furniture and exhibition design. Since 1995, Frédéric Dedelley has been based in Zurich as a self-employed designer. His clients have already included companies such as Authentics, the Max Bill Foundation, Nilus and the Mark Mueller Gallery. The designer is also active on behalf of other clients in addition to Dornbracht; in Switzerland his current projects include, for example, exhibition and interior decoration design for the “Musée archéologique de Vallon” and exhibition design for the Max Bill Foundation.
