Inspired by an ancient Zun vase from the Shang Dynasty (16th-11th centuries BC), this lamp by Robert Kuo for McGuire is modern and refined in its simplicity. Its bold, minimal form consists of a flared top and bottom gathered by a wide, curved central band. Rendered in copper that has been hammered using the ancient technique known as repousse, this lamp's dramatic design and warm coloration are complemented by the soft glow of an ivory linen shade. Its lower height makes it ideal for use on a bedside table.
