Recalling the pure, unadorned forms of classic Asian design is this trio of nesting tables by Robert Kuo for McGuire. Deriving its name from its soft-shouldered corners, the Waterfall Nesting Tables are handcrafted of wood and then finished in red lacquer. The tables feature a seamless field of red lacquer, distinct for the irregularities that derive from hand-applying 60 coats of lacquer and hand-sanding in between each layer. The design is signed, numbered and dated.
