The three new bamboo tables, a console and two dining tables, are inspired by French Moderne design, elevating McGuire's current bamboo forms into contemporary simplicity. Bases are constructed using the same methodology as McGuire's classic bamboo tables, an art form that requires skilled artisans to lash together bundles of bamboo lengths and expertly wrap with the company's signature rawhide laces. The welded iron frame beneath the bamboo is painted orange-red, the color of the Golden Gate Bridge, in homage to McGuire's San Francisco heritage. The Cararra Marble tops, sleek and modern, float above the frame, resting on either nickel, bronze or antique brass risers exposing the geometric tops of the bamboo lengths.
