The Orlando Diaz-Azcuy Tufted-Back Dining Arm Chair is remarkable in its architectural purity, referencing simple forms of Chinese ancestry. Its only embellishments are its cushion tufts, two on the back and four on the seat. The back legs are slightly curved; otherwise strong angles dominate the design. An emphatic back and seat utilize the strength of a rectangular shape; a double rattan deck is enhanced by an upholstered seat and back, resulting in a strong base with a comfortable seat and pitch.
