McGuire introduces seven cloisonne chargers by Robert Kuo, classic yet contemporary in design. The chargers display the traditional Hua pattern executed in cloisonne, an ornamental craft dating back nearly 2000 years. Each handmade charger - the result of a series of steps requiring painstaking attention to detail - is a work of individual beauty and a study in coloration. Each charger is a combination of several colors, all of which beautifully highlight the bold, graphic gold filaments that separate the cloisonne pattern, and is a rare, functional work of art.
