Designed by Elinor McGuire in 1968, the Cracked Ice™ pattern is a McGuire icon. The design is used to adorn this headboard by repeating the pattern of small rattan members bound by rawhide to create the illusion of cracked ice. Described by some as "shattered glass this simple yet inspired pattern is supported by a frame of rattan poles.
