This lamp features an exaggerated elliptical form that was inspired by antique Chinese bells from the Han Dynasty. The pared-down simplified shape has a purity of line that showcases the relief texture of the hand-hammered repousse. The clean plane of the base is broken only by a lovely raised belt around the middle that creates a pleasing symmetry of form. The lamp is elegantly paired with an oval ivory linen shade.
