Recalling a lovely strand of beads is this table lamp by Robert Kuo for McGuire. The geometric form of McGuire's Bead lamp is comprised of five separate forms, stacked one on top of the other. The base is handcrafted by artisans using hammered copper and cream lacquer, both highly regarded art forms used in China for thousands of years. An unusually high number of coats of lacquer is what gives each surface its visual depth and richness. The lamp is paired with a copper shade, also finished in cream lacquer to complete the clean, modern look. Each lamp is signed, numbered and dated.
