Archetype for McGuire combines the familiar McGuire medium of teak with a new material, aluminum. Choosing this rather industrial material gave designer Michael Vanderbyl license to an architectural interpretation of traditional outdoor furniture forms. This clean, edited aluminum chaise features tapered front legs, rear disk wheels and a simple, velcro-attached, round head roll.
