Originally produced in wood with veneer strips, the Leonardo is inspired by agave plant leaves common in the Meditterean. Long strips of white, coated cardboard strips ribbon around a stainless steel frame from which emanates a glowing light source. The result is a beautiful lighted floating sculpture. Available in two sizes: small and large.
About the Designer:
Antoni Arola was born in Tarragona in 1960. He is nowadays one of the most outstanding figures in Spanish design. His work is characterized by its great versatility, which has allowed him to fulfill brilliantly the design either of a perfume bottle or of his renown lamps, or to undertake the interior design of modern indoor spaces. Arola was awarded the Spanish National Design Prize 2003.
