Moare Pendant Light by Antoni Arola - Suspended lighting fixture with cylindrical diffuser in acrylsatine plastic and matte square graphite ceiling rosette. The variety of sizes and colors (white, red, grey and black) allows numerous combination.
The Moare lamp, originally designed in 2003, is based on the fact that its superimposed shades cause an optical effect of asymmetric waters, known as the Moire effect. Since then new formats, supports, colors and sizes have been added, so the current SERIE MOARE deploys numerous combinations to satisfy very different applications: from large public spaces to the more domestic uses. In 2008 a black shade was added which creates a similar effect to that of the grey shade but more contrasted, highlighting even more the lights and the shadows by which the true night owl loves to be surrounded.

About the Designer:
Antoni Arola was born in Tarragona in 1960. He is nowadays one of the most outstanding figures in Spanish design. His work is characterized by its great versatility, which has allowed him to fulfill brilliantly the design either of a perfume bottle or of his renown lamps, or to undertake the interior design of modern indoor spaces. Arola was awarded the Spanish National Design Prize 2003.
