AFG’s diverse line of fabricated products includes silkscreened glass solutions that add a unique finishing touch to many commercial, residential, and specialty applications. These products are popular for use in commercial buildings as vision glass, spandrel glass, and skylights—where they provide solar control. Silkscreened glass also lends a decorative accent to bathtub and shower enclosures, kitchen cabinets, mirrors, and furniture. In fabricating this unique product, AFG Glass applies ceramic frit paint to a glass substrate in a pattern of dots, lines, or holes—then fires the glass so that the silkscreened coating becomes a durable, permanent part of the glass itself. To achieve specific aesthetic or performance benefits, AFG can use any of its primary, coated, or heat-treated glass products as a basis for silkscreening—providing a virtually infinite number of customer options. AFG Glass offers a range of standard paint colors, but can also blend custom colors for a truly one-of-a-kind effect.
