Design Inspiration
This large-scale design has been adapted from a Central Asian embroidery, in a large ogee frame with alternating stylized floral motifs. A liser?? quality, in which the motifs are woven using warp threads, enhances the raised embroidered appearance of this bold design. The color palette is soft and neutral, from rich brown to a new pale grey, giving a more modern look to this richly patterned fabric. A blend of viscose in the motif with a linen and cotton ground makes this woven suitable for both drapery and upholstery applications.
