Design Inspiration
This dramatic print was adapted from the point paper design discovered for an archival jacquard fabric, which was enlarged to a grand scale and a vertical repeat of more than 87 inches. Its climbing tree bears a profusion of decoratively detailed flowers, leaves and pomegranates, intermingled with butterflies, exotic birds and dragonflies. Digitally printed on a fine ivory-hued linen ground, it has been colored in neutral shades both pale and deep, as well as lively chartreuse.
