Rockfon products use stone wool which is produced from volcanic rock, or basalt. Stone wool features unique properties to provide a number of superior performance characteristics including, high sound absorption, fire and water resistance, sustainability, exceptional aesthetics and more.

Can be cleaned with diluted solutions of ammonia, chlorine, quaternary ammonium and hydrogen peroxide
Can be cleaned and disinfected effectively by steam cleaning
Does not contribute to the growth of MRSA
Has a low particle emission (ISO Class 5, ISO14644-1) for better air cleanliness
Excellent sound absorption (NRC = 0.90)
High fire performance
High light reflectance (LR = 0.83)
