Vertically textured fabric is crossed with horizontal, ribbon-like bands in various widths. Multiple varieties of yarn comprise the horizontal stripes and create high-low effects with matte and sheen. Lightly backed, Kente Cloth is suitable for medium-duty residential application as upholstery or bedding. Horizontal stripe off-the-bolt can be railroaded for vertical application.
