The simple curves of this Carnelian Grey Cylindrical Vase belie the complex, ancient process that is required to create it. Hand-blown with meticulous care in the Peking Glass tradition, hollow glass is formed from layer upon layer of molten glass. Its deep, shimmering color emerges from thick walls of luminescent glass. Artist Robert Kuo signs each piece.
