Design: Rodolfo Dordoni
Sherman's strong bones, refined proportions, and structural details are evident whether grouped in large-scale compositions or as individual pieces. In its 103-cm configuration, Sherman's arms are more traditional, whereas in the 142 and 170-cm deep chaise-longues, they are designed with a broader, lower arm rest that also functions as a coffee-table-like surface whose horizontal planes reflect those of the seating element. Design of the chaise-longue allows the differing heights of the seatback and arms to create an interlocking visual effect, while ensuring the utmost in comfort. Sherman's bold lines, refined proportions, and structural details are highlighted in the large-scale compositions and the individual elements.
