Radar acoustical ceiling panels are economical, medium-textured panels that feature a unique, non-directional pattern. They are made with a water-felted manufacturing process that provides excellent ceiling attenuation class (CAC) performance. They install quickly and easily and are classified as low-emitting ceiling panels.
The surface of the panels has perforations that aids in sound absorption, and it cleans easily with a soft brush or vacuum. They are classified as low-emitting; concentration levels do not exceed the 13.5 ppb limit required by California Special Environmental Requirements, Specifications Section 01350, and the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS).
The panels are available in a variety of sizes, face score options, and colors: Radar, Radar Illusion», and Radar panels with FIRECODE» formulation. Their FIRECODE formulation contains special additives that increase fire resistance and may qualify for use in fire rated assemblies to help meet life safety codes. Additionally, face scored panels creates the illusion of a smaller-scaled ceiling system without compromising accessibility.
