MARS ClimaPlus High-NRC acoustical ceiling panels are durable, fine-textured acoustical panels that resist sagging. These panels also feature Superior Performance which means they contain a proprietary broad-spectrum standard formulation that inhibits and retards the growth of mold and mildew.
The panels are manufactured using a unique process that maximizes sound and anti-sag performance, producing excellent noise reduction coefficient (.80) and solid ceiling attenuation class (CAC) performance.
Superior sag resistance and outstanding dimensional stability provide a long-lasting, durable panel, and the non-directional pattern ensures consistent appearance. Their durable, scratch-resistance surface cleans easily with a soft brush or vacuum.
The panels provide high light reflectance values (.89), translating to fewer light fixtures, lower energy costs, and reduced eyestrain, especially important in indirect lighting applications. They are classified as low-emitting; concentration levels do not exceed the 13.5 ppb limit required by California Special Environmental Requirements, Specifications Section 01350, and the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS). The panels are available with High Recycled Content (HRC). HRC Ceiling Panels are classified as containing over fifty percent total recycled content. Total recycled content is based on product composition of post-consumer and pre-consumer (post-industrial) recycled content per FTC guidelines.
The panels offer a ClimaPlus» 30-Year Lifetime System Warranty to withstand conditions up to 104 _F (40 _C)/95-percent relative humidity without visible sag when used with USG DONN¬ Suspension Systems. They are guaranteed resistant to mold and mildew growth, subject to normal conditions.
