Frost ClimaPlus ceiling panels are fine-textured acoustical panels that feature excellent sound control and resist sagging. These panels also feature Superior Performance which means they contain a proprietary broad-spectrum antimicrobial standard formulation that inhibits and retards the growth of mold and mildew.
The panels are made with a cast process that enhances their surface appearance and provides excellent sound absorption and durability. The cast process ensures uniform color throughout the panel, which masks nicks and scratches. This long-lasting, abuse-resistant surface cleans easily with a brush or vacuum.
With their exceptional ceiling attenuation class (CAC) values, Frost ClimaPlus panels provide an excellent combination of noise reduction coefficient (NRC) and CAC values. They have nearly two times more impact resistance than typical fine textured ceiling panels as tested by ASTM C367 test, and they resist "breathing" (air passing through the surface), staying cleaner longer. The panels are also used in RENDITIONS» face-routed ceiling systems to create endless design options.
Frost ClimaPlus ceiling panels are classified as zero-emitting; concentration levels do not exceed 2 µg/m3 (1.6 ppb), the background level specified per California Special Environmental Requirements, Specifications Section 01350. They have exceptional light reflectance, which translates to fewer light fixtures, lower energy costs, and reduced eyestrain. The panels are available with High Recycled Content (HRC). HRC Ceiling Panels are classified as containing over fifty percent total recycled content. Total recycled content is based on product composition of post-consumer and pre-consumer (post-industrial) recycled content per FTC guidelines.
The panels offer a 30-year system warranty to withstand conditions up to 104Б F (40Б C)/95-percent relative humidity without visible sag when used with a USG DONN¬ suspension system. They are guaranteed resistant to mold and mildew growth, subject to normal conditions.
