The standard design of this bed requires a box spring and mattress, each 7” - 8” high. Side boards are 8”h.
BD-75B ships in four (4) pieces and requires simple assembly on site (slip sideboards into slots mortised into headboard and footboard and tighten two bolts on each). Assembly charges are not included in the price.
The headboard is 42” high to keep the correct proportion to the top of the mattress (which will be about 18.5” off the ground). The footboard is 11” high (including open-channel steel feet) and is connected to the headboard by sideboards as shown. The box spring is hidden behind the footboard and side boards.
