The Case Study Fiberglass Rocking Chair is an essential for the modern home and with so many options, it is possible to create your own one-of-a-kind chair.
The shell is available in a myraid of colors shown above. Choose your wire-frame in either zinc-plated steel or black powder-coated steel. And finish up your design by choosing either solid maple runners or solid walnut runners.
The original prototype of the Fiberglass Rocking Chair was designed for the Museum of Modern Art's 'International Competition for Low-Cost Furniture Design' in 1948.
Modernica is the only manufacturer currently producing the Case Study fiberglass shell chair. Modernica uses the original presses and methods that have been used since their first productions of the 1950s.
Each shell is created to display glass fibers prominence, and in some colors, translucency. Modernica's craftsmen are among the best, holding every piece of furniture that leaves the factory to the highest standards?reviving this lost art form that is the fiberglass shell chair.
