Oluce Colombo 889 Pendant Light designed by Joe Colombo - Suspended lighting fixture in chromium-plated metal stem, lacquered ceiling fitting and height adjustable reflector in black or white lacquered aluminum. Provides indirect lighting.
In 1970, the "Colombo", named after its designer, the great Joe Colombo, was the first domestic light with a halogen light bulb and its design came in response to the invention of the new light source. Forty years later, an increasing new awareness of light sources has led to the need to update the original light by adapting it to the new innovative and ecologically friendly fluorescent sources that bring about a significant energy saving. Reworked in collaboration with Joe Colombo's archive and studio, the "new Colombo" brings a still unique design back to the future.
