This is a different style of bureau without sides on the drawer section. When you pull out the drawer you can see straight through. The lid or writing surface has a mechanical mechanism. When you pull it down, the slippers will come out by them self’s. The interior in the bureau will also come towards you as you open the lid. This is a stunning function in action. The top drawer will have a secret opening mechanism.
The peace is made in veneer quality rippelback sycamore. The surface treatment is a coat of clear shellac with 4 cotes of water based lacer on top.
The bureau is built in a high handcrafted quality by Tjerand Gjerde!
