Using casting methods with our exclusive mold materials, Nathan Allan has produced a bold new form of cast glass clear patterns. Freeform glass is essentially textureless cast glass with intricate dimensional patterns. Patterns can run vertically or horizontally, or can be combined to form original and unique designs.
With all our cast glass materials, we develop the product so that it can be safety-tempered. Freeform glass can be safety tempered in 1/4", 3/8". 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" thick panels. Sheets sizes range from 1'0 x 1'0 to 8'0 x 12'6. Panels can also be cast to enable 2 identical layers to be resin laminated together, for installation in overhead canopies, elevated stairtreads, or other applications where laminated glass is required.
Freeform glass allows for a far greater amount of light to travel through the panels, than existing opaque glass, while still providing privacy. Identically viewed from both sides, the patterns are essentially Low to No-maintenance, with easy to clean features.
MARGIN: A 1/2” minimum flat margin is required on all Freeform panels in order to maintain a flat edge for installation purposes.
