This chair gives the impression of Aalto meeting Corbusier. The Spirit chair is considered more versatile than its European counterparts because Nienkamper has extended the range of this chair by doing the arms in many different variations such as sycamore or cherry. Spirit takes fabric extremely well and makes a very dramatic but subtle statement. Best of all, this chair passes the ultimate chair test becaue it is very comfortable.
Spirit can be upholstered in fabric, leather, or a combination.
The laminated maple armrests, with black veneer detail, are available in standard Nienkamper stains or ebonized.
