This unique piece is an all wrought iron framework that features a natural material, Buri nuts. The Buri Tree is the most common palm tree in the Philippines and has a variety of uses from the buds as vegetables to the stalk being used for creating a common alcohol used by locals. These Buri nuts are laboriously strung together by hand and used to create the swags of a classic form on a wrought iron frame. The frame is all finished in a distressed silver leaf which complements the natural Buri nuts and brings more patina to the look. The Buri nuts have a warm brown natural color. This chandelier has the Empire style with sweeping rows of nuts that drape nicely all over the chandelier. The six candles are taller for style and sweep along the edge of the frame for optimum light. Beautiful curved iron arms makes this chandelier special in looks. The size: 31" round x 46" high from the bottom of the chandelier to where the chain meets. Each light has 60w maximum and the chandelier comes with a matching 6 foot chain.
