Overview

TecCrete raised access floor's unique concrete and steel composite make it amazingly quiet and solid underfoot use it bare for an architectural finish in work and learning environments. What's more, TecCrete's superior durability and full range of static dissipative and conductive finish options make it the right choice for data centers and equipment rooms. With available heights from three to sixty-eight inches, TecCrete accommodates just about any application today and in the future enabling flexibility in underfloor air, modular power, voice and data solutions. TecCrete provides an unprecedented level of convenience and adaptability all in an access floor that doesn't feel like one.

Flexibility/Adaptability

Voice and Data creates a seamless, easily reconfigurable system of technology support creating maximum flexibility and performance. Utilizing a modular infrastructure results in easily accessible power and data connections throughout the floor plate that enable the space to be changed up to a day before occupancy. This is a sharp contrast to the need for coring and running brand new home runs every time a position is added or moved. This approach plans for the unforeseen. The result is significantly reduced cost to change now and in the future.

Sustainability

Made entirely in the U.S., TecCrete has been installed in some of the largest and highest scoring LEED certified buildings in the country. In Access floors are critical in designing modular spaces - including everything from casinos to office renovations. Not only does TecCrete contain more than 50% recycled content, it's certified by Greenguard Children and Schools as a low emitting product. What's more, it's the only American-made access floor manufactured in a zero-landfill facility.

Building or renovating with conventional construction techniques can lead to "•А_fixed-in-place"•А_ problems down the road. When spaces change issues arise such as tearing down drywall, pulling up carpet, and cutting and removing cables and electrical, all that waste can end up in a landfill. Additionally, energy use suffers when Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems are installed overhead versus under the floor.

The Haworth Organic Workspace Solution can help support the building, your people, the environment and your company's bottom line in the following ways:

* Increased adaptability of products helps reduce waste
* Reduces building footprint
* Improves energy efficiency
* Provides healthy, productive built environments
* Supports your goals with sustainable design

Design Freedom

Because all the data and power for offices and workstations are under the raised floor, there is no need for power poles and core drilling. This gives a much cleaner aesthetic, avoids the cost and wasted time needed to continually core drill into the slab and eliminates the need for contractors to come in after move-in to get into the ceiling to install more data or electrical.

Leveling Uneven Floor

TecCrete with its height adjustable understructure and laser-leveling installation techniques ensures a flat, solid floor system on uneven slab conditions. This lays a great foundation for building modular walls and furniture giving total flexibility for future moves, adds and changes.
