Stealth is a compact 2.75" square recessed steplight for use with light emitting diodes (LED), or fiber optic lighting sources. The luminaire has a deeply regressed slot aperture to control glare and affords a discreet, elongated beam for step and walkway lighting applications. Stealth LED is powered by a single, 1w Light Emitting Diode and separate driver to illuminate up to 12 individual Stealth fixtures on a 350 or 233 milliamp circuit, up to 30 feet in overall length. The solid state design has a low current draw and uses a fraction of the power required by conventional light bulbs. With indicated useful LED life of 50,000+ hours, the fixture ensures minimal maintenance cost and is highly energy efficient. Stealth Fiber Optic relies on a remote illuminator to transmit light through fiber optic cables for up to 50 Stealth fixtures. The 100w metal halide lamp used in the illuminator has a 6,000 hour average life. The electrical cost of distributing light over this potential quantity of fixtures is exceedingly low, making Stealth Fiber Optic a highly energy efficient fixture. Since lamp replacement is accomplished at one point only, where the illuminator is located, Stealth Fiber Optic is also low maintenance. Both Stealth models are made of solid bronze and will endure the most demanding outdoor conditions without rust or interruption of fixture operation due to moisture.
