When lit, the pearled diffuser becomes luminous, providing a pleasing glow. The open version uses a frosted upper diffuser allowing light to softly illuminate the fixture hood and define the entire fixture appearance. A closed version is available providing for elimination of uplight in a smooth design option. A flat glass lens configuration is available for installations in dark sky areas.
