Product Description: A light-colored wood very popular for flooring, especially in Europe. Less well known in the U.S. Also great for paneling, table tops and other custom applications.

Source: Water recovered from forests flooded to create reservoirs in West Africa.

Species: Afzelia africana.

Colors: Darkish red brown heartwood. Sapwood pale.

Millwork: As-is beams and dimensional lumber. Custom mill work available.

Net Dimensions: 1" thick x 4", 5", & 6" wide x 4' to 12' long. Larger custom sizes available with additional lead time.

Character: Grain interlocked. Coarse texture.

Janka Hardness: 1810.

Finish: Comes unfinished, unless otherwise specified.
