The characters woven in Homecoming come from a Chinese poem that reads, "Last night I dreamt I went back home." Brentano selected the same mill that produces popular Dahlia for their ability to translate nuanced detail. The mercerized cotton warp is woven into a satin weave, creating a luxurious, silky appearance and hand. The weft blends a twisted linen and polyester for variation in shine and matte with a viscose yarn that provides shading and layers of texture.
