esne belongs to a series of wall sculptures that combine nicholas's original graffiti-style grind patterns with a transparent coloring process that he himself invented, and is hand glazed to produce the final product. this is some of nicholas's most original artwork, in that no color-grind pattern effect can be repeated, giving each sculpture a truly unique identity.
