As seen on This Old House . The Vita Chair and Ottoman represent the evolution of our design ethos, merging the sentiments of modernism with the substance, grace, and tradition of solid cherry and leather. Our latest design pays tribute to master architect Mies van der Rohe, originator of the term "less is more", harnessing the natural strength of wood to achieve suspension and cantilever with minimal form. The curved back and tufted cushions echo a familiar silhouette, while the architecture of the base and the materials are something else entirely. A solid, matched-grain cherry back and seat are joined in an ergonomically curved frame. The seat and back cushions are meticulously hand stitched to ensure a sleek, tailored surface that is resoundingly comfortable.
