How is square Molded Grating Made?
Molded Square Fiberglass Grating is a fiberglass reinforced composite of polyester or vinyl ester resin with a slightly concave skid resistant surface available with or without a grit surface. Molded Grating is manufactured in a one piece construction process by interlacing pre-wetted glass reinforcing strands in a liquid resin matrix within a given configuration. Once the resin has cured, the molded grid is removed from the mold. The one piece construction ensures that all glass is impregnated with resin.
