Description:
Quarried in the shadow of the 7th Century BC hilltop fortress at Erice, in the sun baked north west of Sicily, Cappuccino limestone features pale to warm beige marbled tones with fine russet highlights.
Readily available in 30.5 X 30.5 X 1cm tile and 2cm honed slab for cutting to size, Cappuccino is considered a very hard and durable limestone, suitable for heavy traffic in a wide range of commercial and residential applications.

Available - Generally available from stock, however, large sizes may be problematic due to the nature of the material.
Supply:
Good supply - This stone comes from a well-developed source, which is operated all the year round. Supply is generally constant and special items can be fabricated at the factory of origin on request.
Durability:
Heavy traffic - This stone is very durable and is suitable for the most demanding commercial applications such as receptions, banking halls, airport terminals etc.
Variation:
Moderate variation - This stone exhibits visible variation in background colour, veining and movement. Blending prior to installation is highly recommended.
Special notes:
1 - White mortar or white adhesive is recommended for this stone, which should be sealed prior to and directly after grouting.
2 - All stones benefit from being sealed during and after the installation process. Our sales team will be happy to advise the appropriate sealant for this stone and its intended application.
3 - This stone may contain areas of open or dry seams, which may appear coarse to the touch or dull in reflective light.
4 - This stone may also contain natural fossils, glass veins or pits, of which some may have been filled at the factory of origin. Should any filler work itself loose it may be necessary to refill these voids as a normal maintenance procedure.
5 - This material can be used externally in freeze thaw conditions.
Application:
Suitable for all common commercial applications - internally and externally.
