The Case Study Dowel Base has a steel frame and a choice of solid maple or solid North American walnut dowels. The wire frame is available in chrome-plated steel or black powder-coated steel.
Pair this base with a fiberglass shell chair, a wire seat, or purchase the base for a vintage shell. Many of Modernica's bases are compatible with vintage Herman Miller fiberglass shells.
