With his design for the Basel Chair, Jasper Morrison has renewed the genre of classic wooden chairs. One immediately notices the chair's harmonious proportions, yet on closer inspection it also reveals a decisive innovation: the seat and back are made of plastic. The Basel Chair thus offers improved seating comfort over chairs made only of wood, with the two-tone variants making a particularly striking accent.

Material description
Frame: beech (Croatia, France, Germany), natural or with black lacquer finish.
Seat and backrest: ASA plastic, dyed through.
Glides: fitted with carpet glides or felt glides for hard floors.
