Designed by Roberto Menghi, Globo di Luce is a hanging lamp in metallised blown glass globe available in metallic silver (CR), metallic gold (O), and metallic red (R). Anodised aluminum internal reflector. Transparent electric cord. Available in two sizes: small and large.

About the Designer
Roberto Menghi was born in Milan and he obtained his degree in 1994 from "Politecnico" University of Milan. He taught architecture at Venice and Milan universities, design at the "Nuova Accademia" of Milan and at the University of Bath (UK). He was awarded twice at the Triennale with the "Gran Premio" Prize for the Glass and Design Section, and twice with the "Compasso d'Oro" (Golden Compass) for the Design.
In the field of design he realized many pieces destined to industrial production and prefabricated light constructions. He dedicated his work to the renovation of particular artistic-loaded buildings such as the "Palazzo dei Giureconsulti" in Milan and he restored buildings inside the historical part of some cities. His works have been reviewed by the top architecture and design magazines: Casabella, Domus, Abitare, Ressegna, Architectural Review, I'Oeil, Architecture d'Aujourd'hui.
Additionally, his works are included in the most important volumes such as "Design Industriale" by Vittorio Gregotti, "Atlante del Design" by Grassi and Pansera, "New Houses in Old Buildings" published by Links International. For Fontana Arte, he has designed the products' family Globo di Luce.
