The letter is the light source, consisting of a bi-directional electroluminescent film, that gives off a soft subtle light. Its surface allows for indelible markings or, for the more capricious, removable messages.
The base is a white marble core, which comes from making the hole in an ARCO lamp. To this note, love letter was created as a gesture of thanks and admiration to Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, in tribute to the inspiration that they have given to the world through the ingenuity and emotion of their designs. - Tags
