Daniel Lee Pollock's sculptures are fluid, organic, peaceful and yet bold. He travels to various reclaimed wood yards to acquire massive sections of Cottonwood, White Fir, Giant Juniper, Sycamore, and Spalted Pine in addition to many others.
To create one of these sculptures is a time consuming process. It takes just over two years from the time the wood is claimed until the piece is finished and ready to leave the studio. The end result is organic, fluid and timeless.
The Daniel Lee Pollock studio is located on a 15-acre ranch in the foothills of the San Bernardino National Forest. The setting is appropriate for a sculptor whose art is inspired by the tranquility of the forest.
