A beautiful pair of Swedish bergeres from the 3rd quarter of the 19th century with restored frames in classic Swedish gray and linen upholstery with down cushions. The arched seat backs, with contrasting Swedish check fabric on the back, are surmounted with urn and garland carvings, while the apron and square tapered legs are embellished with floral medallions and leaf carvings. Well proportioned, sturdy and extremely comfortable.
