Introducing the newest wonder to Argington's collection, the UFFIZI bunk bed. This bed offers a straight forward solution to making the most of your children's room. More importantly, it provides a resting place your children will love to call their own. Designed by the artisan duo Jenny Argie and Andrew Thornton, the Uffizi can be considered as an architectural work given the interesting spaces it provides. Kids will love the cantilevers, semi-enclosed lower bunk, and window like openings. You may select different finishes for different parts of the bed giving you the opportunity to suit your own style. The Argington Fuji toy box would also be an excellent addition at the foot of the bed to provide additional storage needs. Note: This is a custom item and non-returnable.
Specs
Minimum space requirement: 102" in length x 47" in width x 72" in height. Made from sustainable hard wood and birch ply. All materials, glues, stains and finishes are 100% non-toxic and are low VOC. Lower bunk is low to the ground for easier access for youngsters (guard rails are available and sold separately). Both upper and lower bunks accept a standard twin size mattress. Mattress thickness for upper bunk should not exceed 8”. The Uffizi can convert to a loft bed with youth desk underneath, and the lower bunk can also be repositioned. The desk attachment can be used with any configuration. Assembly required. Exceeds all CPSC and ASTM safety standards.

A note from the designer: Based on the world in which we live, and the world we will leave our children and families, Argington follows a clear and decisive path towards minimizing our environmental impact and providing environmentally healthy products through sustainable design and manufacturing. Thoughtful and intelligent design is essential for sustainability. Our furniture is designed with longevity and re-usability as an essential criterion. We offer adjustable seating that grows with your child, table tops that are reusable and also are adjustable, cribs that convert to toddler beds, space saving trundle beds, and storage solutions that are multifunctional and adaptable to a myriad of styles and conditions. We create designs that are crafted to be timeless and can easily be passed from one child to the next. Argington uses 99% wood products in it's furniture, with virtually no mdf, particle board, flake board or other similar engineered wood products. The wood comes from managed renewable forests established specifically to provide long-term responsible solutions towards the growing demand of timber related products - FSC certified. Our finishes are non-toxic and can withstand the test of time. Aside from our solid wood components, the birch plywood used in our products are made with low emission glues which nearly eliminate long term emissions and off-gassing. We have even coordinated efforts with our energy efficient production facilities to develop manufacturing processes that help maximize yield and minimize waste of raw material.
