Intaglio printing is a process by which a metal plate is "carved" with grooves that are filled with ink and used to create the image on paper through a pressure press system. Our new damask Intaglio mimics the look of this process. The all-over motif is a stylized classical pattern, reminiscent of Victorian tin ceilings. Available in a range of vibrant jewel tones from a deep amethyst to a rich aubergine to vivid brass, Intaglio is a versatile textile that can work in any design vocabulary.
