Another addition to our collection of world-renowned mohairs, Basket Case is a small-scale jacquard patterned 100% mohair in a huge array of interesting and modern colors, equally at home with mid-century (1930s-50s) or Louis XVI stylings. Woven in the "W-construction" and featuring an easily matched, trompe l'oeil-like basket weave pattern, Basket Case is contract rated and extremely durable at 50000+ double rubs. With an eye to our contract clients, this pattern is woven in and will not crush or steam out, as can be the case with other patterned mohairs. Basket Case is also our best value in mohair, again making it all the more appealing to contract and residential clients alike.
