Diffrient “Highlights”
• Fluorescent Technology: The Diffrient Work Light utilizes compact fluorescent technology to provide an ideal light source while saving energy and minimizing risk of burns.
• Counterbalance: It was designed with a near-perfect counterbalance for easy repositioning, so users can move it closer to tasks that require more light and further away from tasks that require less light.
• The Shade: The light’s asymmetric parabolic shades direct light forward from the lamp head in such a way as to minimize glare and optimize illumination. The Work shade can be rotated 360° to redirect the light as desired.
The Diffrient Light & the Environment
In keeping with Humanscale’s environmental stewardship, the Diffrient Light is made of up to 90% recycled and recyclable materials, the vast majority of which is aluminum – a material that can be recycled over and over again and which has a high scrap value to ensure that it will, in fact, be recycled at the end of the light’s useful life. And the compactfluorescent bulb uses one-third the energy of incandescent bulbs and lasts four times as long.
